At our clinics, we have an orthoptist, a medical professional qualified to detect anomalies of binocular vision and ocular motility.
During the orthoptic visit, we assess dysfunctions such as strabismus, lazy eye, ocular paralysis, and double vision.
The orthoptist also deals with visual rehabilitation in muscular, innervative, and sensory deficits affecting children or adults. At the Carmen Vision Care clinics, it is also possible to book a pediatric orthoptics visit to promote visual awareness from early childhood.
The orthoptics visit does not replace the eye examination, therefore we use the direct collaboration of an ophthalmologist who receives at our clinics.
