Orthokeratology
Orthokeratological lenses are also called night-time lenses because they are applied the evening before bedtime and removed in the morning when waking up.
They therefore allow you to not wear other visual aids during the day, as they provide temporary compensation for the visual defect.
Orthokeratological lenses allow to correct myopia, hypermetropia, astigmatism, and presbyopia and one of the main advantages is the possibility of slowing down the progression of young myopic.
To assess the suitability of the wearer, we apply a strict pre-application protocol that allows you to select the user according to lifestyle, the visual defect, and the lacrimal and corneal characteristics according to a path that takes place in synergy with the ophthalmologist.
The application includes teaching hygiene and maintenance rules, scheduling periodic checks, and continuous assistance throughout use.
